Financial Secretary: Cathy Ford
Cathy Ford moved back to Lowell from Smyrna, Tennessee in the summer of 1989. She and her family joined FBC Lowell the following November. Soon after that, the church decided it was time to hire their first ever paid secretary. God has a sense of humor because the person he had in mind for this position had never done any office work before. In March 1990, the pastor at the time, Bro. Jim Wallis, asked Cathy to come in a couple of times a week to assist him. As the church grew so did Cathy's knowledge and responsibilities. It became a full-time ministry opportunity and now actually requires two secretaries. Cathy is the Financial Secretary and her daughter, Kimberly, is the Pastor's Secretary. Cathy is a vital part of the many functions that take place here at this church, and we are truly blessed to have her!
Cathy has four grown children, seven grandchildren and many more that lovingly call her "Nana." Cathy's husband, Bob, is retired from an aircraft manufacturer in Nashville, Tennessee. Cathy enjoys swimming, camping, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren.
